Bringing a unique and unparralled knowledge base to her real estate clients, chances are you recognize Susie Proffitt.
For years, Susie has graced television screens across Atlanta and the nation. Since 2006, she has been the Host and Producer of Atlanta’s Best New Homes, a weekly show airing on FOX 5 Atlanta. Showcasing new home communities Susie has witnessed the changing trends in building and design while creating relationships with builders and real estate professionals across the metro.
Those relationships along with understanding the importance of the buying and selling experience for clients has allowed Susie to assist clients with not only building wealth but understanding market trends and how it affects their investments.
Prior to real estate, her career spanned 20 years in the beauty and fashion industry both in the Southeast and eventually New York. Traveling extensively in a corporate position with Elizabeth Arden Inc; she helped develop the world’s first beauty makeover computer and appeared as an Elizabeth Arden spokesperson on numerous national and regional television shows. She previously hosted other regional TV shows including Gracious Living, The Florida Condo Show, The Coastal Living Show and Beauty Mark, which have aired on FOX affiliates throughout the Southeast.
She also had the opportunity to work with the late iconic designer Karl Lagerfeld and served as an Account Executive for other designer fragrance and cosmetic companies including Oscar de la Renta and Yves St Laurent.
Translating the skills she honed in that industry to real estate, she experienced immediate success and was named, “Rookie of the Year,” by her former brokerage. Since that time, the way we buy and sell homes is experiencing a paradigm shift and Susie is proud to be affiliated with Engel & Völkers Atlanta and the company’s progressive energy, realizing the impact it has for her clients.
Serving clients, the community and her industry; the former Miss North Carolina and North Carolina native is a member of the The Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association, the organization’s Sales and Marketing Council and supports HomeAid Atlanta, being named 2015 Volunteer of the Year as part of the Atlanta Best New Homes TV team of contributors.
When Susie is not touring homes and negotiating contracts, you can find her traveling and exploring new areas, spending time with family, or cooking a new meal with her skyline view in the forefront.

A long drive up the Pacific coast, preferably in a convertible, stopping along the way to explore anything that’s beautiful, interesting or tastes good (Including wine)!
